What kind of quality can I expect?
Because we use the knowledge, production and purchasing power of TOPS Air Filters, we can offer the highest quality at the best prices. The filter sets of TOPS WHR Filters meet the European EN779 standard. This guarantees a constant quality as advised by producers of WHR units. The selected filter cloth has the right density and fire resistance. That way, you can rest assured that you will have the right filter for your system.

How often do I have to replace my air filters?
TOPS WHR Filters advises to replace your filters every six months and in case of newly built houses every four months. Check your filters on a regular basis and, if necessary, you can clean them using a vacuum cleaner on the lowest setting so your filters won't damage. NB: never clean air filters with water or any other liquid!

What about the cleaning and maintenance of my WHR unit?
TOPS can recommend a local installer / fitter for maintenance and internal cleaning of your WHR unit. For the maintenance of your unit we have contacts with local, qualified fitters. With a maintenance contract, your system will stay in perfect condition thanks to a qualified specialist from your own region. Fill out the form below and discover the possibilities.

How much can I save using a WHR system?
Compared to a ventilation unit with a regular exhaust system, a WHR system will save between 300 m3 and 400 m3 of natural gas on a yearly basis. That means - based on a gas price of 0.65 per m3 of natural gas - that you will save between € 195 and € 260. However, a WHR system does use a bit more electricity, because of the extra supply fan. The additional costs for electricity will be around € 83 (based on a continuously running unit, 50W of extra power, setting 2, over a period of 365 days, standard capacity and electricity costs of € 0.19 per kWh).
